Some people keep forgeting (or don\‚t know) about traveling through a
border town Cieszyn/Český Těšín – 1 of the oldest and most beautiful
places around.\r\n\r\n – There\‘s a bus every 0.5 hour from Krakow to
Cieszyn/ Cieszyn – Krakow and it only costs EUR 5 (PLN 20). It takes
3 hours.\r\n – Then there are many day trains from Český Těšín to
Prague (or back) for EUR 12 (CZK 340) – takes about 4 hours.\r\n\r\n On your
way you only need to walk for approx. 30min from Polish Cieszyn bus station to
Czech Cieszyn (Český Těšín) train station through one of the most unique
towns. And you can also stop by in a hostel in the very town centre.\r\n\r\n
Total cost of travel from Krakow to Prague / Prague to Krakow: about EUR 12 and
you stay flexible on the date and time.

Hello,
On the end of July, I had to join Cieszyn from Praha by train. If
I understand, I will arrive in Czech Cieszyn train station, and then I have
to walk 30mn to reach Polish Cieszyn, is it right ? So, is the train station
(PKP) near to the center of Cieszyn ?
Thank you

Hi! yes, you will arrive to Czech Cieszyn train station, then you need to
walk a bit – 15–20 min. to get to the Polish side of the town (over a
bridge). The Czech train station is near the centre of Czech Cieszyn and about
15–20min. walk from the Polish Cieszyn centre. Then it is about 10 min. walk
from the centre on the Polish side to the Polish bus station (if you plan to
travel to e.g. Kraków or Katowice). You can also get a taxi if you want or stay
in a hostel in the strict centre on the Polish side of the town.

Dear Jose,
yes, you can buy the ticket in advance online here: cd.cz (it's in Czech or
English). It is even a bit cheaper if you buy more than 48 hours in advance,
but if you want to be more flexible, there is always a place available, because
the trains run about every 2 hours, there is not so many people traveling and
the Czech trains are very nice and comfy :)
