My wife and I plan to travel from Prague to Vienna in the First week of July by First Class. How many days ahead can I buy the ticket and what would be the charge to deliver the ticket by FedEx or DHL to New Jersey, USA. For travel in First Class do we need to make a reservation in addition to buying the ticket. How many hours before the departure time of the train should we be at the station? What are your cancellation and refund policies? Thanks for your help.

Dear customer, here are the answers:

      • 60 days in advance
      • about 25 EUR, (you can also have the tickets delivered to your hotel in Prague (20 EUR),
      • no, but we recommend it
      • 20–30 minutes
      • See our FAQ, q. no. 13

For the First Cklass Tickets, do you have any provision for e-ticket or these are only paper tickets. The 25 Euro charge, is it per ticket or for mailing both tickets? When do we make the reservation, at the time of buying the ticket? Is the ticket bought for a particular day and train good only for that day and that train? If for some reason, we could not make it on that date and that train, is the ticket still valid for another day and another train or does the ticket becomes invalid at that point?

          Hello.

          • We do not offer 1st class tickets in an electronic form.
          • The delivery fee is per order not per passenger.
          • The seat reservation is chosen by the system.
          • If you have seat reservations, then it is valid only for the one train.
          • Train tickets without seat reservations are valid all day. Not an earlier or next day.

          Kind regards
