I am worried about being able to bring our suitcases from Budapest to Prague, EC 276. We can handle our suitcases (one each) ourselves but they are fairly large. Luggage is normal for international travel but I can't find anywhere what size suitcases can fit into the overhead compartment. We are in a first class apartment.

I looked at FAQ 30, but it only mentions hand luggage. We will have one piece of large luggage that we would normally need to check on an airplane. Is this checked on the train or do we bring it to our seat with us?

Dear customer, the railways want you to transport only 3 pieces of luggage which are easily manipulated by the passengers themselves. It includes even the larger pieces of luggage, but note that you will be able to store it only over your head or under your seats. There are usually no lugagge wagons. Kind regards

Hello.

There is no uniform size. You should have no problem with a bag with dimensions 70×50×30 cm.
