Hello, I will be traveling from Prague to Munich in August. Are there any
luggage restrictions on the trains? Thanks for your help, Bridget Flood

As for standard luggages (should be easily manipulated and placed under or
below one's seat), there are no limitations. There are restrictions for
bicycles.

Generally there is enough space for luggage in the train. If it does not fit
below the seat there is more space for luggage over your head (if it's not an
over-sized luggage). But the trains are different so it also depends which
specific train you are going to take and which class (in the 1st class there is
more space than in the 2nd class).

What if it wouldnt fit in the overhead rack too ?
I want to take my electric piano-keyboard on board. Boxed it is about
1.2metres long and 40cm deep.
Would i have to buy a ticket for it, or stand in the aisle ?

Dear Dan, do not be afraid, your piano will fit there. You do not have to pay
anything for it. Pavla

Hello, it should fit on the overhead racks. On the international trains there
is usually no luggage compartment. Kind regards Pavla
