Hi,

I'll arrive Munich on this coming Saturday early morning and to transit to Prague at the same day. I have a question here, what is the purpose of the Bayern-Boehman ticket? Is a ticket i could get it from Munich airport then to Munich Train Station then to Prague? Should i get it online if the price would be much cheaper. This gonna be my family trip (2 adults & 1 child below 2 years old), i wonder how could i get cheapest ticket in any method? Appreciate for your kind advice, thanks!

Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket

For 5 persons costs 32,– € (in the machine). Children under 14 with (grand-)parents can travel for free.
Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket Single – for 1 person costs 22,– € (in the machine)
The ticket is valid from 09:00 till 03:00 following day day, during weekend from 0:00 till 3:00 following day
in Bavaria valid in 2nd class of the trains category IRE, RE, RB and S-Bahn
in Czech republic valid in 2nd class of trains category R, Sp and Os; in your case (Munich – Prague) it can be used until Pilsen (Plzeň). From Pilsen to Prague you will have to buy regular tickets (about 5 EUR per person, you can do it in the train; children below 6 for free)

This is definitely the cheapest way to get from Munich to Prague.
