overnight trains frmo Budapest to Prague - Book night train Budapest

My family and I will be traveling from Budapest to Prague in late August. We are interested in taking the overnight train. It seems as though there are two trains: both depart at 19:58 but one arrives at 3:29 (way too early!) and the other at 6:22 (better). Is this correct? Also, there are 4 of us. Can we book a sleeper cabin just for the 4 of us or is there a 2 person maximum? We'd prefer our own sleeper cabin. Thank you.

Dear David, schedule is correct. You can book sleeper cabin for 4 person only, there are cabins either for 2,3,4 or 6 people.

We are 8 friends, also planning to take the night train Budapest 19:58 to Praha 6:22. The ticket price page here 4 & 6 person cabin are couchette, and the 3person cabin are beds. What is the difference between couchette & bed cabin?

Bed cabin is more comfortable, as bed is a bit wider than the berth.

Ivana, We are 6 ladies & 2 gentlemen. So can book the two 3 beds cabin for the 6 ladies and separate 2 beds for the gentlemen. Do the cabin have locks inside that cannot be opened from outside? We hear of dangers to travel on night trains and stories of thiefs break-in. Is it safe for 3 ladies to occupy a 3 beds cabin

All coupes have locks, so you can shut the door and lock it. It happens from time to time but in general its quite safe and I would not worry too much. Its better to travel 3 plus 3 and 2 gentlemen together.
