How much is a one-way ticket for a senior, from Nuremburg to Prague?

Marja - mar4rox(at)yahoo.ca - 2009-03-16

Is there a bus from Nuremburg to Prague? If so, what is the schedule and cost? Thank you.

As for train, regular one-way ticket is 43 EUR, seniors have a discount but only if you have a Senior Pass.

There are buses, you can go with StudentAgency or Eurolines It is a little cheaper, one-way ticket is around 30 EUR.

I am interested in two adult one-way tickets from Nuremberg to Prague the morning of August 9, 2009. On the web site, I notice it comes up Praha. Is that Prague? And is the price 850 czh each? Can you please confirm the schedule and price for me for this trip, and how to book it. thanks, Steve

Steve:

  • Praha is Prague in czech
  • one-way ticket cost 43 EUR if bought in Prague at the train station. I expect the price of the ticket from Nuremberg to be similar. You can also book and buy the tickets online but it is more expensive (look at links above in the section Book & buy tickets online).

I want to go to prag with a friend of mine, and we want to travel with the R 351 from Schwandorf to Prag. As the train is crossing the border I wanted to know if its possible to buy some tickets in the czech train? I'm looking forward to your answer. Thanks, Katharina

Hi Katharina, yes it is possible but note that you will have to pay extra fee for buying the ticket on board.
