How to get from Nuremberg to Prague by train

In 2014 there are no direct trains from Nuremberg (Germany) to Prague. The only option is to take train from Nureberg to Regensburg and then from Regensburg to Prague.

But there are also buses runned by Deutsche Bahn. These buses (called DB Expressbus) run every two hours starting from 08:42 and last bus leaving 18:45. The buses require seat reservation. The journey takes 3h45min.

Buying tickets at the train station

  • You can buy the tickets at the train station as most bigger stations have an international counter.
  • Usual open times: 4:00 am – midnight.
  • Seat reservations are sold separately (cost 3–4 EUR).
