Hi! I have a flexible interrail pass and I was just wondering if it would make any difference if I'd book this ‚seat/cabin‘ for 5 euros. When I book this ‚seat/cabin‘, then what exactly do I book? Because I don't seem to get an actual chair reservation, right? Kind regards, Rose

Hi Rose, there must be some misunderstanding. Every Interrail pass substitutes TICKETS only. So if the train is with compulsory seat&bed reservation, you will not be allowed to board the train without it. Generally said ALL night trains and ALL high-speed trains require reservations + some other trains too. If you have your plan set up, I can give you the rates for the reservations so that you can book them with us. kind regards Tomas

Hi Tomas! Thanks for answering, I think there is indeed some misunderstanding. I want to travel from Prague to Budapest and from Budapest to Ljubljana and I know I can go on these trains without a reservation, but as the train journey takes quite a long time (6,5 and 8 hours), I just want to be sure I have a seat and I don't have to worry about other people who might have reservated that seat (so I don't have to keep swichting seats with my luggage). I don't know if my explanation is clear hahaha and if it's actually necessary to reservate a seat in my case, but I hope I made it a bit clearer ;)

Hi Rose, for such a case you can buy seat reservations, €5 a piece and collect them in our office. this option is supported by the booking system. best regards Tomas
