How it works

- At checkout, choose how to receive them: posted to your home, delivered to your Prague hotel, or handed to you at Prague Airport when you land.
- Pay securely by card or bank transfer. We confirm your order by email.
- In Prague, validate the pass once on your first ride — it is then valid for the full 24 or 72 hours.
Good to know
- One pass covers all metro lines, trams and buses across the whole of Prague — including the ride from the airport and outer districts such as Prague 2 and 3.
- Validate only once, at first use — there is no need to stamp the pass again on every boarding.
- Children under 15 travel free with a passport as proof of age — they do not need a ticket at all. From the age of 15, travellers pay the adult fare.
- Seniors 65 and over travel free with just a passport. Ages 60–64 qualify for the discounted senior ticket.
- A pass is valid only after validation — an unvalidated ticket is treated as invalid, with a 1,500 CZK on-the-spot penalty.
- Prague's night network is limited, so a pass ordered in advance saves you searching for an open ticket office after a late arrival.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get the pass as an e-ticket by email?
No — Prague passes exist only as genuine paper tickets, so there is no emailed e-ticket. You can either buy one on arrival in Prague, or order from us in advance and we will deliver the paper pass to you before your trip.
Can you post the passes to my home or hotel before I travel?
Yes. We ship worldwide by DHL or FedEx to your home address, or deliver to your Prague hotel for collection at reception. If you are also ordering train tickets, we combine everything into one shipment so you pay delivery only once.
How long is a pass valid, and do I validate it every time I board?
A pass is valid for 24 or 72 hours from the moment you first validate it. You validate only once, at first use, then travel freely on all metro, trams and buses for the whole period.
Does the pass cover the airport and outer districts?
Yes — one pass is valid across the entire territory of Prague, including the journey from the airport and districts such as Prague 2 and Prague 3, which all count as the city.
How far in advance can I order?
You can order months ahead. A pass does not start until you first validate it, so buying early — ideally together with any train tickets — is perfectly safe and can save on delivery.
Do children need a ticket?
Children under 15 travel free in Prague with a passport as proof of age, so they do not need a ticket. From the age of 15, travellers pay the standard adult fare.
I arrive very late at night — can I still buy a pass at the airport?
Possibly not — ticket offices keep limited hours and night transport is sparse. Ordering your passes in advance for delivery avoids the problem, so everything is ready before you land.
Are there discounts for seniors or disabled passengers?
Travellers 65 and over ride free with just a passport. Ages 60–64 qualify for a discounted senior ticket. Disability discounts in Prague require the Czech ZTP card; foreign disability cards unfortunately do not qualify.
Can I get my passes at the airport?
Yes. Choose "meet you at the Airport" at checkout and give us your flight number and arrival time — our courier will be waiting in the arrivals hall at Prague (Václav Havel) Airport to hand you your passes, so you are ready to ride the moment you land.
