FAQ – Taxi Transfers

In Czech Transport's FAQ you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding taxi transfers in Prague.

1. How can I book a taxi transfer?

You can book a taxi transfer on-line through our website. You just need to complete our booking form here. Please fill out all details carefully including your phone number. If you want transfer from the airport, please do not forget to enter your flight information. After that you will receive an email that you have to confirm.

2. What are the costs of transfer?

We offer fixed prices on all transfers in Prague.

1 – 4 17 EUR
5 – 8 28 EUR

3. I have not received my confirmation e-mail, what should I do?

Please, double-check your spam/junk folder as requested if using a hotmail, yahoo, live or msn account. For further communication please adjust your spam/junk filters to be able to receive communication from Czech-Transport.com domain. Please send us your alternative e-mail address to which we can re-send the confirmation.

4. How can we pay for our transfers in the taxi?

Payments are accepted in cash and collected directly by the driver. All prices are by car (NOT by passenger). Prices are quoted in CZK, EUR and USD. You can pay in any of these currencies. The price in EUR is fixed, the price in CZK and also in USD depends on conversion rate.

5. Can a transfer be paid in advance?

Advance payments by credit / debit card through our website is possible. Please, contact us with your request.

6. How do I recognize Czech Transport taxis and drivers?

In most cases we use minivans VW Caravelle for 8 passengers (silver or green). If you are 1 or 2 persons you might travel in a car for 4 passengers (Skoda Octavia). Our driver stands at the meeting point holding a sign with your name.

7. Where I will meet the driver?

  • Airport: the driver comes to the arrival hall 20 minutes after the plane lands. He checks on-line arrivals so it does not matter if your plane is delayed. He stands close to the exit D holding a sign with your name.
  • Hotel: the driver waits in the reception of your hotel.
  • Apartment / private address: the driver waits in front of your apartments / house.
  • Train station: when you get out of the train, please, wait at the railway platform nearby your train. The driver will come to pick you up holding a sign with your name.
  • Bus station: wait near your bus, the driver will come to pick you up.

8. I have a reservation, but I want to change my pick-up details. My flight is delayed, my arrival changed, what should I do?

Please send us an e-mail to info@czech-transport.com and we will change it in our reservation system.

9. Can I cancel my request?

Yes, you can easily cancel your request by clicking on the cancellation link in your confirmation email.

10. I travel with a baby and I will need baby seat or booster seat.

Please, write this request into „notes“ during the booking, and we will provide baby seat for you.

11. How can I get in contact with Czech Transport?
