Good afternoon,

I am planning to visit Auscwitz-Birkenau on the 9th of July and the only good connection would be by train Os 94350 S8 2. from Katowice to Oswiecim at 6.21 am. However, I see that I cannot buy the ticket online.

I will arrive to Poland the day before (Wroclaw), therefore the option to buy the ticket well in advance from the train station is not an option for me.

Can you please let me know if it is safe to buy the ticket that morning (July 9th), from the Katowice Train station? Will I still be able to buy a ticket (preferably with a seat)?

Any advice would be great!

Dear Ms. Olivia. I am sorry but we cannot guarantee you that the seats will be still available. We always recommend to get tickets on time. You can select a paper ticket with either delivery to your hotel in Auschwitz/Wroclaw or to your home/office address. Delivery usually takes up to 5 days.

Thank you! This would be a wonderful idea! However at this point I am not allowed to pick any date in July.. as if there were no trains/tickets available anymore.

Can you please let me know if this is the case or it is just a system error?

Also, if it is a system error, where can I find this option to select a paper ticket delivery?

Hello again. Please note that we accept booking 30 days prior to the travel. So you will be able to book tickets on 9th of June.
