My wife is aged 65 and will be visiting Prague this week with her sister who
is aged 71. I have read that tickets on public transport are free for persons
over 65 or for persons over 70. Is this correct? Thank you.

Hello. Seniors 70 years and older travel free of charge just with their
passport as proof of age. Seniors 60 – 69 years can use discounted tickets if
they obtain a senior card issued by the Prague public transport. Please check a
list of info centers where you can buy it. (You will need 20 CZK, your passport
and a passport-sized photograph), otherwise pay full price.
