We would like to travel from Praha to Poznan in August with eurail global pass. Do we need to reserve seats? The website says we need to reserve seats between Berlin and Poznan but it costs more than buying tickets.

This is our first time to use eurail global pass, so I have no idea.

Trains between the Czech Republic & Poland and Germany are obligatory for seat reservation, so you will not be able to travel without a seat reservation.

There is no direct train from Prague to Poznan. We can offer you the way from Prague via Berlin to Poznan or Prague to Katowice and then to Poznan. I think the best way to travel is via Berlin. From Prague to Berlin we can offer you the e-reservation and from Berlin to Poznan must be a paper reservation with a delivery service in Prague.

Please could you send us the information about your travel day and the number of passengers?
