We are two adults (over 65 years old, man and woman). We want reservations
for a deluxe sleeper (with WC and shower) on an overnight train, departing on
July 17.
We have read that tickets for EN50467 Nightjet cost less than EN40459
Canopus. Is there any difference between these trains, other than schedule?
When do tickets become available for purchase? Is there an additional fee for
reservations?
For American travelers, which web site has the best prices for purchasing
tickets?

Hello. The train EN 40459 Canopus goes via Germany and travel time is longer
(carrier Schweizerische Bundesbahnen SBB), the train EN 50467 NightJet goes via
Austria, the travel time is significantly shorter and the carrier is: České
dráhy, a.s. The Czech train is of course cheaper but service is similar. You
can book tickets maximum of 180–90 days in advance, depending which train you
want to book. Both trains can be booked directly on site, more information about
both overnight trains can be found on site.
