The Karlovy Vary IFF takes place between 1st and 9th of July 2016.
Probably most most of the people are familiar with the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival – it is the most important film festival in Central / Eastern Europe. The first year it took place was in 1946. The concept of the Karlovy Vary IFF is based on the strategical geopolitical location in the Czech Republic. Czech Republic is considered as a border line between Western and Eastern Europe.
The Karlovy Vary IFF presents annually more than 200 new films from the whole world.
The festival is open to the public, generally intended for both – lay and professional public with a carefully composed program. Thousands of young and middle age people are visiting this festival every year.
