Who processes your data

What we collect when you order
Name, e-mail, phone number and, if you give one, a note or a company name. For tickets that are physically delivered we also need the delivery address; for a hotel pickup the hotel name and address and the guest name; for an airport transfer the flight number and arrival time. Where a carrier requires it for the reservation itself, we pass on the passenger names and ages you enter.
We need this to arrange the transport you ordered and to send you the ticket — without it the order cannot be fulfilled. We keep order records for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires, which is currently ten years for tax documents.
What happens when you pay
We never see or store your card number. Payment by card runs on the bank's payment gateway; we only learn whether the payment succeeded and the reference that identifies it. For a bank transfer we see the payment as it arrives on our account.
When you ask for a quote
The enquiry form and WhatsApp orders store what you send us: the route, the date, the number of passengers and your contact details, so we can reply with a price. If it turns into an order, it becomes part of that order; if it does not, we keep it while the offer is live and then delete it.
When you write a comment
The name you sign with and the text are published on the page. We also record the IP address the comment came from, as protection against spam and abuse.
When you just browse
Our server records each visit: the page, the address you came from, the campaign parameters in the link, the language, your IP address and your browser identification. We use it to see which pages and which sources bring visitors, and to spot automated traffic. This is our legitimate interest in running and defending the site, and you can object to it at the address above.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies keep your shopping cart together, remember your cookie choice and protect the forms against abuse. Analytics is Google Analytics 4 and runs only if you agree in the banner — until then, and if you refuse, nothing is stored on your device. We run no advertising or remarketing tags at all. Who else sees your data
- The carrier whose ticket or transfer you bought — the reservation cannot exist without it.
- The delivery company you choose for a physical ticket: Czech Post, DHL, FedEx or Nova Post.
- The payment gateway of our bank, for card payments.
- Google, for analytics, and only with your consent. Data may be processed outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
What you can ask us to do
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable form. Write to info@czech-transport.com and we will answer within one month. Where the law requires us to keep records — accounting documents above all — we cannot delete them before that period ends.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.cz).
