How to interpret train tickets:

We sell train tickets for direct connections, that means you will board the train at the departure point and get off at the desired destination. However you can receive a set of tickets, that could be divided into several parts. Here are some notes that will help you to understand train tickets:

This international ticket is valid from the international border to the arrival destination.

Please keep tickets stapled together and ready for inspection. Claims for missing tickets are not accepted if tickets are detached. The ticket pricing is based on our price list.

You do not need to call at the ticket office, simply board the train. Your train is likely to be ready to board about 20 minutes before its departure time. There is no check-in, security or passport control to be cleared.

FAQ – interpretation of the tickets

1. Why do I have so many tickets?

We sell tickets which are divided at national borders. The reservation and national ticket are usually valid for all passengers. However, international tickets are in most cases printed 1 for each of the passengers. This may enlarge the number of tickets quite a bit. Please, note that you need all the tickets we gave you.

2. Where is the number of passengers?

  • The reservation: top right corner of the ticket, the number before „MISTA/PLATZE“
  • The Czech ticket (little blue one) right side, towards the top, look for „Osob:“
  • The international tickets: Top right corner of the ticket „ERWACHSENER“

3. I do not have the departure, arrival and train number on my ticket.

If you did not buy seat reservation, then you do not have any of the information on the ticket. You can travel with the ticket on the train you wanted.

4. How to validate my tickets?

The tickets are valid travel documents. Just board the train and wait for a conductor.

5. Do we sleep in the same cabin?

YES. We always put our customers in the same cabin together. Numbers of beds are not in numerical order on these trains. Typical bed numbers for Bed 2p (a cabin for 2): 51, 55, or 32, 36. Typical numbers for Bed 3p (a cabin for 3): 41, 43, 45, or 62, 64, 66.

6. The price on tickets is different than the one I paid.

By purchasing the train tickets you agree with our prices. This is clearly stated in our terms and conditions. Our prices do not have to correspond with the ones at your tickets – you need to add various fees and taxes. See our price list to verify that the price you paid is correct. Our prices are created in a different way than at train stations and are generally less expensive.

7. Do I have a 1st class sleeper cabin?

To verify that you have a 1st class cabin with a private bathroom, look on your reservation. 1st class sleeper cabins have the word „DELUXE“ written under the bed numbers on the reservation. Deluxe cabins are printed and combined with 2nd class tickets (this is a railway companies agreement), the type of the cabin is determined by the type of the reservation.
