Is this the right bus for you?

• Yes, if you are carrying on by coach. Florenc is Prague's coach station: the RegioJet and FlixBus services to Brno, Ostrava, Vienna, Bratislava and Berlin leave from there, so this puts you at your next departure gate with one operator and one booking.
• Yes, if you want a guaranteed seat with proper luggage space and no queueing at a machine after a long flight.
• Not if you are simply heading to the city centre — and we would rather say so. The Airport Express bus runs to the main railway station every 20 minutes for 200 CZK, and trolleybus 59 plus metro A costs one 50 CZK ticket. Both are cheaper than 10 EUR. Florenc itself is one metro stop from the main station on line C.

• How do I pay? Card or bank transfer when you book on this page. The seat is then yours for that departure — this is a reserved coach service, not a hop-on ticket.
• What if my flight is delayed? The reservation is tied to the departure you picked, so leave yourself room: with hold luggage reckon on being out of Terminal 2 about 40 minutes after landing, and an hour from Terminal 1, where passport control adds a queue nobody can predict.
• Where do I get off for the old town? Florenc, then metro C one stop to Hlavní nádraží or two to Muzeum; Náměstí Republiky and the old town are a ten-minute walk from Florenc along Na Poříčí.

Airport Express — good to know

• The AIRPORT EXPRESS (AE) connects Prague Airport with the main train station (Praha hlavní nádraží), where the trains to Brno, Ostrava, Vienna, Berlin and Dresden leave from. The live timetable and booking are above.
• Ordinary Prague public-transport tickets are not valid on it — the AE has its own fare.
• It runs every 20 minutes through the day and keeps roughly hourly departures through the night, so it is the one airport link that works at 3 in the morning.

AE ticket terms — excerpt

• An AE e-ticket is valid for the bus it was bought for or any later AE bus the same day.
• E-tickets cannot be changed.
• We need the full name of one passenger. That passenger must travel and show the ticket with an identity document (passport) to the driver, otherwise the ticket is not valid.
• Show the driver a printed ticket or the e-ticket on your phone or tablet.
