Terms & Conditions for Bus and Train e-Tickets
These Terms and Conditions apply to all relations between H-TEAM, s.r.o., operating under the brand Czech-Transport.com and Schedules.Czech-Transport.com (hereinafter referred to as the Company), and any person or organisation purchasing or using its services (hereinafter referred to as the Client).
Definitions
- The Company: H-TEAM, s.r.o., operating as Czech-Transport.com / Schedules.Czech-Transport.com.
- The Client: Any individual or corporate entity purchasing or using the Company’s services.
- E-ticket: A travel document issued electronically for a bus or train journey.
- Carrier: The transport undertaking operating the bus or train.
Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking, payment, delivery, cancellation, and use of bus and train e-tickets purchased through the Company.
Booking
- Orders must be placed through the Company’s website or directly by e-mail, telephone, WhatsApp or Telegram.
- The Client must provide accurate passenger data (full name in Latin characters, valid e-mail address, valid telephone number with international code, and other details required by the carrier).
- The Client is responsible for verifying departure stations and times. Schedules are subject to change by carriers.
Schedule Verification (Important)
- Passengers are solely responsible for checking the correct departure time of their train.
- Departure times may change due to operational adjustments made by railway carriers.
- Passengers must verify the departure time at least 8–12 hours before departure via official railway carrier websites, station boards, or official timetable systems.
- If a passenger fails to verify the updated departure time and the train departs earlier than indicated on the ticket or previous schedule information, any related complaints or claims will not be accepted.
Payments
- All orders must be paid in advance by credit card (via secure third-party portal) or bank transfer.
- Payments are processed only after they are credited to the Company’s bank account.
- Bank transfer fees must be borne by the Client.
- Prices include a booking fee of EUR 4–25 per person, per ticket. The booking fee is non-refundable.
Delivery of Tickets
- E-tickets are sent by e-mail as PDF documents after successful payment and issuance by the carrier.
- Tickets are valid only for the passenger(s), route, date, and time indicated.
- The Client must present the e-ticket together with a valid passport or ID when boarding.
The order is considered paid and received only after the payment is credited to our bank account. You will then receive a confirmation email.
If you do not receive your confirmation email or tickets within 12 hours:
- Please check your SPAM / JUNK folder.
- If the ticket is not there, contact us immediately at info@czech-transport.com.
- For next-day departures please call +420 776 877 890 without delay.
Claims made less than 8 hours before departure will not be accepted. Claims for travel expenses submitted after the e-ticket has expired will not be accepted.
Unavailable / Sold-out Tickets
- If your ticket cannot be purchased (sold out or system error), we will contact you by e-mail or WhatsApp.
- A full refund will be issued within 3–4 business days, or we will offer alternative options.
- If the Client does not respond within 3 days to repeated messages, the order may be cancelled and refunded.
- The Company is not liable for any damages in such cases.
Special Non-Refundable Train Tickets
Certain railway tickets offered through our services are issued under strict fare conditions imposed by railway carriers.
SparNight / Night Train Promotional Fares
Tickets issued under SparNight or similar promotional tariffs, mainly for international night trains within Europe, are non-refundable and cannot be changed after purchase.
This applies particularly to night trains operating in or between:
- Germany
- Poland
- Switzerland
- Hungary
- Czech Republic
- Austria
- Other European night train networks
Once issued, these tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or modified.
Tickets Issued via ÖBB Systems
Train tickets issued through the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) reservation system are generally final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Night/Day Train Tickets Poland & Hungary – Ukraine
Electronic tickets for day and night trains (including sleeping cars) between Poland or Hungary and Ukraine (in both directions) are strictly non-refundable and non-changeable once issued.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation and refund rules depend on the carrier and ticket type.
- Some train tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-changeable.
- Seat reservations and administration fees are non-refundable.
- The cancellation request must be submitted exclusively online by clicking the “Cancel ticket” button. Requests sent by email are not accepted.
Electronic Seat Reservations – Cancellation or Changes
- Orders consisting only of electronic seat reservations cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or changed after issuance.
- Once an electronic seat reservation has been issued, it is final and non-refundable.
- This applies even if the passenger does not use the reservation or already holds another ticket or travel pass.
Changes
- Exchanges of e-tickets are generally not possible unless allowed by the carrier.
- Any permitted changes may be subject to availability and carrier fees.
Client Responsibilities
- The Client must comply with all carrier regulations and border requirements.
- The Client must follow instructions of carrier staff during travel.
- The Client is responsible for all required travel documents and visas.
- Animals and bicycles are allowed only according to carrier rules.
Claims
- Complaints must be submitted by e-mail to info@czech-transport.com within 8 days of travel.
- Written confirmation from carrier staff is required for disruptions.
- The Company forwards claims to the carrier for evaluation.
- The carrier may take 60–90 days to respond.
Liability and Limitations
- The Company acts only as an intermediary between Client and Carrier.
- The Company is not responsible for schedule changes, delays, missed connections or force majeure.
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the order.
Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for non-performance caused by events beyond its control, including strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, or government actions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
Language
In the event of discrepancies between translations, the English version shall prevail.
