The line was opened in 1978 and at the moment it has 20 stations. The total length is 22,41 km and journey from one end to the other taking approx. 35 min. It crosses the right-bank half of the city center in the north-south directions and turns to the east at both ends of the line.

  • Letňany Connection to buses (110, 140, 158, 185, 195, 201, 259, 269), regional buses ( 302, 351, 365, 375, 376, 377, 378) and night bus 506. You can also catch here special bus line OCL (taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Letňany shopping center)
  • Prosek Connection to buses (136, 140, 151, 158, 177, 183, 185, 195, 295), regional buses (302 and 375) and night buses 511, 513, 603.
  • Střížkov Connection to buses (136, 151, 177, 183, 201, 295) and night bus 511.
  • Ládví Connection to tram 10, night tram 53, buses (103, 177, 183, 295), regional buses (345, 348, 368). You can also catch here special bus line S (taking you to the TESCO Letňany shopping center)
  • Kobylisy Connection to tram 3, 10, 17, night tram 53 and 55, buses (102, 144, 152, 162, 169, 177, 183, 200), regional buses (370, 371, 372, 373, 374) and night buses 505, 608. You can also catch here special bus line S (taking you to the TESCO Letňany shopping center)
  • Nádraží Holešovice It serves the Holešovice railway station. Connection to tram (12, 24, 17) night trams 53, 54 and buses (112, 156, 201)
  • Vltavská Connection to tram 1, 14, 25, bus 156 and night buses 505, 511.
  • Florenc Station providing the interchange between Lines B and C. It serves the city's central bus station FLORENC
  • Hlavní nádraží It serves the city's central train station Hlavni nadrazi The metro station is situated underground, below the railway station.
  • Muzeum Transfer to the metro line B (yellow). Connection to trams passing through Wenceslav square (3, 9, 14, 24), night trams (51, 52, 54, 55, 56, 58) and historic tram line 91.Get out here to get to the Wenceslav square and National museum.
  • I.P. Pavlova Connection to trams 4, 10, 11, 13, 16, 22, night trams 51, 56, 57, 59, bus 291 and night buses 504, 505, 510, 511, 552. You can also catch here special bus line H1 (taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Černý most and Obchodní Centrum Chodov shopping centers)
  • Vyšehrad Connection to night buses 504, 505, 510.
  • Pražského povstání Connection to tram 18, night tram 53, buses 121, 193 and night buses 504, 505 and 510. You can also catch here special bus line H1 (taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Černý most and Obchodní Centrum Chodov shopping centers)
  • Pankrác Connection to buses (103, 177, 183, 295), regional buses (345, 348, 368). You can also catch here special bus line H1 (taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Černý most and Obchodní Centrum Chodov shopping centers)
  • Budějovická Connection to buses (118 121 124 1­70 205), regional buses ( 332 335 337 3­39 362) and night buses 505, 510, 606. You can also catch here special bus line H1 (taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Černý most and Obchodní Centrum Chodov shopping centers) and BB1 and BB2 taking you to the Obchodní Centrum Brumlovka shopping center)
  • Kačerov Connection to buses (106, 113, 114, 139, 150, 157, 189, 196,215, 293), regional buses (331, 333) and night buses 510, 606.
  • Roztyly Connection to bus 135.
  • Chodov Connection to buses 115, 135, 177, 193 and 197. Centrum Chodov, the largest shopping centre in the Czech Republic, was built next to the station in 2005.
  • Opatov Connection to buses (136, 165, 177, 181, 213, 227), regional buses (326, 327, 328, 385, 397) and night buses 506 and 609.
  • Háje Connection to buses (125, 136, 165, 170, 183, 197, 213, 232, 240, 267, 293, 296), regional buses (363, 381, 382, 383, 387) and night buses (505, 506, 511, 605, 609).
