I will travelling to Munich-Prague-Munich. Can i buy round trip train ticket? Will that be cheaper? How much the train fare for adults and children below 2 years old? How do i check about the train schedule as we wish to make a direct trip to Prague from the Munich Airport at the same day also.Is the train & the airport at the same place? Thanks!

You can buy round ticket only at the station but AFAIK there is no discount – you can only get a group discount (6 persons and more). 2 year old children travel for free. Regular ticket at the station cost 55 EUR.

We sell electronic tickets for 40 EUR, but only for route Prague – Munich. For Munich – Prague you can look at the website of Deutsche Bahn

Munich airport is located a bit out of the city, so to get the the Central railway station you will have to use the local suburban train (S1).

There is also possibility to go by bus directly from the Munich airport to Prague. The ticket cost 35 EUR.
