Dvořák’s Olomouc 2014

Date: 1 May – 20 May, 2014

Place: Olomouc

The works of Antonín Dvořák will be heard at the international music festival in Olomouc

Dvořák’s Olomouc

The international music festival Dvořák’s Olomouc arose by a transformation from the festival Olomouc Musical Spring, organised by Moravian Philharmonic already since 1958.

The festival program is oriented not only at Dvořák’s famous works, but also at other important Czech authors (Fibich, Foerster, Novák, Suk, Eben). Musical performances combined with the showing of films or the spoken word will take place at the Church of St. Maurice, the Hradisko Monastery, in the halls of the Regional Museum in Olomouc, the Town Hall on Upper Square (Horní náměstí), and other locations in Olomouc.
