If I were to take train EC 273 Csárdás to Budapest, is there a rail/train
change in between or is it just one train ride with stops in between? Also, for
a US citizen, do I need Visa to the country the train thats going to pass by?
Lastly, Csárdás would be the name of the train that I will be taking or is
that the platform where the train will be departing from? Thank you!

Dear Joel, the trains between Prague and Budapest are direct with no changes.
You need visa to get into Shengen zone. Once you get there you will only show
your passport when crossing the border. The platform will be announced before
the departure. The name is Csardas, and the number EC 273.
Kind regards Pavla

Hi Pavla, Thank you for the quick reply. This clears up everything, except
one. I am a US Citizen and from my understanding I do not need Shengen Visa.
Has this changed lately or is it still the same? I hope it hasnt changed.
Thank you!
