Praha hl.n. ↔ Nádraží Holešovice — private transfer
Two stations, 3 metro stops apart, and an increasing number of journeys that start at one and continue from the other. The metro does it in six minutes; a car makes sense when you have the luggage, the family, or twenty minutes between trains.
One price for the whole car — never per person.
It is the question we are asked most often underneath this page, so here it is in plain words: you book a car, not a seat. Four of you pay the same 42 € as eight of you. Luggage, VAT, tolls and parking are in the price, and it is agreed before you pay — the meter does not run.
| Passengers | Per car | Per person |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | 27 € | from 9 € |
| 4–8 | 42 € | from 5 € |
| 9–11 | 69 € | from 6 € |
| 12–16 | 84 € | from 5 € |
One way, any time of day or night — no night or weekend surcharge. The per-person column is the fare divided by a full car, which is where one vehicle beats eight separate tickets. Larger groups are welcome: above 16 people we simply send more vehicles — ask us and you get one price for the whole party.
- Private door-to-door transfer
- All-inclusive price — VAT, tolls & parking
- Refundable — 85% back up to 48 h before
- Secure payment — card or bank transfer
Why anyone makes this trip at all
Prague's long-distance traffic is split between the two stations, and since the 2026 timetable the split is sharper than it used to be.
- Praha hl.n. — most domestic services (Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Plzeň) plus the trains to Vienna and Kraków that terminate in Prague.
- Nádraží Holešovice — the through trains between Vienna or Budapest and Berlin or Hamburg, which since 2026 run via Holešovice and do not call at the main station at all, plus much of the EuroCity traffic to Dresden and Berlin.
So a ticket from Brno to Berlin, or an evening arrival at the main station before a morning train north, can leave you needing to cross the city with your bags. That is what this page is for.
The metro is right there, and it is cheap
We would rather tell you this than sell you a car you do not need:
- Metro C, three stops — Hlavní nádraží → Florenc → Vltavská → Nádraží Holešovice. About six minutes, and both stations have the metro directly inside them.
- A 30-minute ticket at 39 CZK covers it; a large suitcase needs its own 25 CZK ticket on top, or travels free if you already hold a 24-hour pass.
- Trains also run between the two stations several times an hour and take about five minutes. Any valid Prague ticket is good for that hop.
Take the car instead when you are carrying more than you want to lift down a metro escalator, when you are travelling with children or elderly parents, when your connection is tight enough that a wrong platform would cost you the train — or when there are four of you and the fare per head stops mattering.
Where the driver will be waiting
- At the main station (Praha hlavní nádraží): at the main exit from the platforms, directly opposite Burger King, with your name on a sign. It is the one landmark in that hall nobody misses.
- At Nádraží Holešovice: in the station hall, with your name on a sign. One hall, one exit to the metro — nothing to get lost in.
- Send us your train number and where you are coming from. That way the driver is there when you actually arrive rather than when you were scheduled to, and a delay costs you nothing.
- Cannot find the driver? Call the 24-hour dispatch on +420 776 877 890 and stay in the hall.
Good to know
- Left luggage: the main station has both a counter and self-service lockers. Holešovice has neither — so if you have hours to fill between trains, fill them on the main-station side.
- Coming from the airport instead? Those are different runs and a different price: airport ↔ main station and airport ↔ Holešovice.
- Travelling with a dog? Yes, in a transport box. Tell us the size when you book.
- A big group? Up to eight in one minivan; above that we send two and quote one price for the whole party. Ask us.
- Other routes and the full price list — hotels, the airport, transfers within the city — are on the Prague transfers page.
